- The reception lady (Vladimyra was her name if I'm not mistaken) was very nice, always willing to help us and with a smile on her face.
- The check-in was fast and smooth - very smart the e-check in option.
- The breakfast was AMAZING. Big variety even 30 minutes before the end, nice place, nice utensils (loved the set of serving pots).
- The room(suite) was spacious enough. Loved the 2 toilets, very convenient.
- Loved the option of smile bonus card in the room where if you feel like, you can write on it the name of the hotel employee with which you were satisfied and drop it at the box in the reception on your check-out.
- It was a 30 minutes ride(by car) from Cesky Krumlov and 10-minutes ride(by car) from Hluboka nad Vltavou.

5 minute walk from gorgeous main square with lots of cafes, shops, breakfast places. Downstairs in the building there is a good looking Spanish tapas bar., was closed for Easter weekend. We'll try it next time!

The hotel is located in a building which houses a wellness centre where you can book a massage or sauna. It is best to book it on advance. You enter your room from a little patio, which might be nice in the summer. The location is perfect - very close to the historical centre, bars and restaurants, bus stops and a big parking lot. It was peaceful and quiet. The room looks better in reality than in the photos. The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable.

Lovely historic town, super Xmas markets - better than Prague. Loads of great bars and several superb microbreweries as well as the world famous Budvar brewery which is well worth a tour.
Great parks and loads of easy walking around the town make it a pleasure to visit.
Good transport links and nearby Cesky Krumlov is a must see.

For a Czech city it was surprisingly uninspiring, the old town is beautiful and it's easy to get around. There is no castle or other major attraction. There's a brewery which proved to be very interesting.

Besides having a beautiful city centre and plenty of good cafes and restaurants and shops, the city is convenient as a hub from which to visit nearby towns in South Bohemia such as Ceske Krumlov, and to link with hiking and bicycle trails.
The Regional Museum is also well worth spending a few hours in.
One thing that online Maps fail to advise, is that Ceske Budejovice has a comprehensive bus network, that is inexpensive.
Overall the people seem happy and friendly to tourists.

Small, less touristy town. Nice town along the river.
Small, less touristy town. Nice town along the river. Has some nice parks and large town square. Not as cute as some other Czech towns but is home to the original Budweiser. Do the tour to learn all about the beer and taste it. The Hluboka Castle is 30 minutes north of the city. If you have time rent a car or use the public transport (bus or train) to go see it. It’s a beautiful, Winchester palace inspired castle. Large ground territory and free to explore. You can pay to do tours inside the castle but walking outside the castle is already worth the visit.

It's not a flashy city.
It's not a flashy city. The vibe was more a working city, not really on the tourist route, but it has a nice, quiet quality. The Old City Center is small and very walkable, though not as big and famous as Český Krumlov - and also not as expensive. It makes a nice stopover between Linz and Prague, with a visit to Český Krumlov in between.

A welcoming hotel. Carmilla was on reception when we arrived. Friendly and efficient. Our room was fairly compact and bijoux but was comfortable enough and good overall value. The bed was very comfortable. Good bathroom as well. Great location on Ceska Street. There,'s an organic cafe just along from the hotel where the do a mean lemonade.
Breakfast is a smorgasbord of a buffet. All you need to do fill up, return, fill up & return.
I would certainly stay here again but I would get a larger room.
Nice fair hotel located rather close to the railway station by foot in Ceske Budejovice, especially for those who want to stay overnight and make trips by train or bus to Cesky Krumlov or other sites nearby. Also close to main square 5 min by foot.
Quiet, clean, nice breakfast, german & english speaking staff, large room. Fair price.
The location of this place is pretty good at the center of the old town but that's about it. They room had a nice charm but it's poorly kept, dirty, musty, creaking every step you take. If it was renovated and more effort is put in the management of the hotel instead of the restaurant it might become good.
Hotel location is great, it is within walking distance to the city center. Being the tallest building around, one have a good view, if he stays on the upper floors. Room was OK. Breakfast not bad. Parking free. Several restrictions due to COVID-19. Overall, our experience would be good, if ...
A very lovely property, right in the middle of Ćeské Budejovice. The restaurant is definitely a must, it was fantastic. The staff were great, very attentive. Parking was just around the corner, for a small cost. And they had air-con, which was really good for us!
Located right in the centre of Ceske Budejovice, with private parking space in the back. Very well-designed, tasteful, large and modern space, and fully equipped. Nice balcony overlooking the private gardens as attic on the 4th floor.
The hotel is in the middle of the town (3 min on foot from the main squere). It's very difficult to find parking in such cases, but the hotel has own garage. The breakfast was good. In general I can recomend them for future vvisits.
My first stay at this hotel. Very nice hotel close to the city center. Reallly good breakfast with many choices. I was lucky getting a room on the 14th flour with a fantastic view over the city of Ceske Budovijece.
Location is great, beautiful area along the river, close to centrum and good restaurants hotel staff very helpful and hotel room was very clean and comfortable.
